About Us

Professional Expertise, Personal Heart

At Senior Money Management, I provide specialized, local bookkeeping tailored to the unique needs of seniors and disabled adults. I believe that financial security isn't just about math—it’s about providing families with the peace of mind that their loved ones are protected.

The Foundation: A Family Trust

My journey into senior money management began at home. A few years ago, my ninety-year-old father-in-law entrusted me with his personal finances. While he valued our family bond, it was my Degree in Accounting and decades of professional experience that gave him the confidence to hand over the keys to his estate. I took that responsibility as a sacred trust, managing his bills and records with the same integrity, honesty, and "zero-error" precision I’ve maintained throughout my career.

After he passed away, I worked closely with his Power of Attorney to navigate the complexities of the estate—notifying agencies, securing accounts, and ensuring a seamless transition. Today, I continue to steward my mother-in-law’s finances with that same professional rigor and personal respect.

The Mission: Lifting the Burden

Around the same time, a close friend suffered a life-altering stroke. While he is thriving today, he required a local "second pair of eyes" to protect his savings and manage his daily bills. Because his Power of Attorney lives out of state, the distance created a massive administrative burden for her.

By stepping in to handle the local bill pay and bank reconciliations, I was able to bridge that gap. My professional accounting background allows me to catch the small details that others might miss, while my local presence provides the boots-on-the-ground support he needs.

The Result: Peace of Mind for the Family

This arrangement allows the Power of Attorney to retain full oversight and control without the exhaustion of daily management. It lifts the "heavy lifting" off her shoulders, allowing her to focus on her own life and family, knowing that her friend’s accounts are being monitored with medical-grade discretion and professional accuracy.

Mission

At Senior Money Management, we don’t just manage books; we restore time and security to the families who need it most.

A Partnership of Trust

Many families feel overwhelmed by the "daily grind" of managing a loved one's finances. My goal is to act as your local, professional eyes and ears, leaving you in control while I handle the day-to-day.

How I Take the Burden Off You

1. The Hand-off: You provide access to the necessary records. I use my accounting background to organize the "chaos" into a clean, digital system.

2. Oversight: I handle the bill pay, bank reconciliations, and mail. You no longer have to worry about late fees or missed medical insurance deadlines.

3. Fraud Protection: I monitor accounts for suspicious activity. If something looks wrong, I contact the Power of Attorney immediately.

4. Easy Reporting:  You retain full control. I provide clear, simple summaries of where the money is going so you can review the status in minutes, not hours.

5. Tax-Ready Year:  When April rolls around, I hand you (or your CPA) a perfectly organized folder. No more hunting for receipts or missing 1099s.

How We Work Together:

Spend your time with loved ones in meaningful ways, let us take care of the day-to-day.
